STUMP SCREWS

The CBI Log and Stump Screw is a patented tool designed to split—with ease and efficiency and without the need for a larger machine—oversized butt logs, pole wood, and stumps into more manageable-sized material to be further processed into firewood, wood fuel, or other value-added finished products. Various sizes are available to fit almost any machine with auxiliary hydraulics. The size and type of log screw employed depends on the machine’s hydraulic flow capacity, pressure, and tonnage. Just lightly spot drill the tip of the screw into the wood and now logs can be easily lifted and repositioned as needed. With the CBI Log and Stump Screw, you can bring your machine right to the lumber, an important time and cost-saving advantage.

Two optional attachments, designed specifically for our Log and Stump Screw, offer even greater flexibility while working with timber. The CBI Stump Grinder (available for the M3 and M5 models) provides the extra strength to grind through even the toughest stumps. The 20" and 25" diameter grinders fit the M3 and the 25" and 30" diameter grinders fit the M5.
The CBI Drilling Auger (available for all model Log and Stump Screws) is fitted with shovel-tines and a double screw, allowing it to quickly and efficiency drill holes for fence posts or for tree planting.
